Corpus Christi Primary School and Nursery Class is situated in the middle of the village of Calderbank on the outskirts of Airdrie. The building dates from 1961 and is of a split level nature. It comprises of a one story block of classrooms, flanked by an infant wing, a large gymnasium and dining room, a large general purpose room and an administration block. |

Every opportunity is take to forge strong home, school and community links as we believe everyone has a very important role to play in educating our children. Our policy is to make parents and visitors welcome at all times. Parents are always encouraged to learn more about the work of the school and to become involved in their child's education. Our motto, "Children First and Foremost" lies at the core of everything we do. Every attempt is made to ensure that our pupils are made aware of the fact that they are part of the community of Calderbank. They are encouraged to have respect for the environment in which they live.
Pupils normally transfer from primary to secondary between the ages of 11.5 and 12.5 so that they will have the opportunity to complete at least four years of secondary education. Pupils from Corpus Christi primary normally transfer to St Andrew's High School, Coatbridge.
