Our primary six and seven boys and girls take part in all North Lanarkshire football festivals. They have football practise on a Thursday after 3pm, taken by the local BB officer and the janitor. The badminton class is held on a Monday, and a netball class is held on a Tuesday.

Children normally transfer from primary to secondary between the ages of 11 and 12, so that they will have the opportunity to complete at least four years of secondary education. Pupils from Coltness primary normally transfer to Coltness High.
