Shotts Nursery Centre

Shotts nursery centre is a new purpose built early years establishment situated in the Dykehead area of Shotts. The staff compliment includes head of centre, depute, eight pre-five workers, two clerical staff and five cleaning/caretakers staff.

The centre provides quality 'Educare' for young children and their families within two uniquely designed buildings. The first building which opened in June 2000 caters for 40 children between the ages of 3-5 years, the second which opened in September 2002 caters for 16 infants and toddlers between 0-3 years. All nursery places are allocated in accordance with North Lanarkshire Council's admission policy.

Complementing the provision for children, the centre also offers a variety of courses to parents in its well equipped parents room.
