Shawhead nursery centre is a new purpose built nursery centre, situated in the grounds of St. Bernard's primary school and is located in the centre of Shawhead, Coatbridge. |
| The centre has accommodation for 15 children aged 2-3 years old and 48 children aged 3-5 years old. All places for children are allocated in accordance with North Lanarkshire Council's admissions policy. |

We offer a variety of learning experiences in accordance with the Scottish Office "3-5 Curriculum Framework".
In addition to the nursery, the centre has facilities for parents. This consists of a parent room and a family room. These areas are used for courses and classes for parents.
The nursery is staffed by eleven nursery staff, two administrative staff and three caretaker/cleaners.
