We opened in 1990 and are based in the wing of St Barbara's primary school in Muirhead. We offer a wide range of facilities for children and their families. In line with North Lanarkshire Council's admission policy the nursery has places for 48 three to five year olds, 21 under threes and 20 out of school care children. |
| We offer a very wide and varied curriculum based on the five key aspects of the Scottish Executive 3-5 curriculum guidelines. All members of staff are qualified and their role is central to supporting and extending children's learning through play. |

Our accommodation is spacious and bright and has well equipped indoor and outdoor play areas including a large soft play area for lots of exercise and fun. We also have a thriving parent and toddler group, childminder sessions and offer opportunities for parents to develop their own learning and become more involved in their child's learning.
