Coatholm nursery school was built during World War Two. It had some refurbishment done in 1991. The nursery is based in the heart of Whifflet, just behind the main street. It has three playrooms, outside hard surface play area and an enormous grassy garden. |
| Maximum use is made of space indoors and outdoors, creating a safe challenging and exciting environment which children learn and play with enthusiasm. There are 45 children from 3-5 years old on half day sessions and it is staffed by five staff working with children, a clerical assistant and a caretaker/cleaner. |
