Portman Group

The Portman Group is an organisation whose purpose is to help prevent misuse of alcohol and to promote sensible drinking. The Portman Group was set up in 1989 by the UK's leading drinks manufacturers, which together supply about 95% of the alcohol sold in the UK. As part of its activities the Group promotes road safety through anti drink drive campaigns and the supply of publicity materials.

Road Haulage Association (RHA)

The RHA provides advice, information and business services specially tailored for the haulage industry. Information is available on a range of issues including legislation and health and safety matters. The views on Road Safety matters affecting the industry are also available.

Tyre Industry Council (TIC)

The TIC is a non commercial, non profit making concern charged with the responsibility of raising and promoting greater awareness of tyre safety. The Council performs its tasks though a variety of high profile campaigns including roadside checks arranged with UK police forces, tyre safety clinics are organised with Road Safety Officers and other related initiatives. Aggressive media campaigns are also organised and other events such as tyre awareness seminars are arranged.
