Child Safety Seat Campaign

The Good Egg Guide to In-Car Child Safety is an initiative aimed at increasing parents and carers awareness of the dangers of ill fitted, inappropriate car seats.

Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA)

The DVLA maintain registers of drivers and vehicles and collect taxation.

Driving Standards Agency (DSA)

DSA is responsible for, conducting driving tests in Great Britain for cars, and setting and maintaining theory test standards.

Get In Lane

Get in lane is a new website, which provides a one-stop shop for driving related issues aimed at young drivers. The Scottish Road Safety Campaign's 'Get in lane' website provides drivers with useful information and various interactive tests including a hangover and drinking calculator, reaction tests and quizzes

Road Peace

The UK's national charity dedicated to supporting bereaved and injured road crash victims, was set up in February 1992 to meet the overwhelming need for a national organisation to represent and support this huge group of victims and draw attention to their almost non-existent rights.

The Automobile Association (AA)

The Automobile Association is one of the UK's largest motoring organisations.

In 1986 the AA established a 'Foundation for Road Safety Research' to examine such matters as the behavioural factors in crashes. The AA sponsors major Road Safety seminar and conference events, is represented on many national road safety committees and produces a range of publicity materials. The Association plays and active role in the media campaigning on a range of road safety issues.

The AA Motoring Trust

The AA Motoring Trust was created by the AA to champion the interests and safety of Britain's road users. At the heart of our work is research and information on road safety, particularly to protect our children.

The charity's work includes: Crash testing new cars, Crash testing child car seats, Research showing how, where and when children are injured on the roads and research into children's attitudes to road safety to enable better teaching.

The Guild of Experienced Motorist (GEM)

The Guild of Experienced Motorists is an independent driver-based road safety association. GEM sponsors numerous road safety projects and provides free literature on a range of topics.

The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM)

The IAM was formed as a wholly independent, non-profit making organisation with the stated aim of improving driving standards, promoting road safety and establishing the Advanced Driving Test.

The Royal Automobile Club (RAC)

The RAC ever since its foundation in 1897 has been involved in developing motoring services. A range of services is provided by the Club ranging from the well known recovery service to other provisions such as vehicle examinations, legal expenses, live traffic and travel information, insurance services.

We now offer an overview of the business; it's aims, objectives, products and services. The associated documentation and legislation and many other interesting facts about an organisation that affects every vehicle on the road in the UK.
