The following standards will help us to regularly monitor our performance on the provision of the School Meals Service:
- Our Catering staff will wear departmental uniforms
- We will provide information on catering services and clearly display menus and prices every day
- We will provide a choice of menu options daily
- We will ensure all food is stored and served at the correct temperature
- We will always positively encourage a healthy menu selection both by marketing and price incentives
- Our staff will be trained in customer care
- We will ensure that our customers are consulted an all aspects of service delivery
- We will implement the Council's Diet and Nutrition Policy to promote a healthy lifestyle and balanced diet
- Our staff will ensure a high standard of service complying with the corporate and departmental standards
