Pistoia visit - North Lanarkshire exchange programme 2006-2007

Staff and pupils from the Pistoia area in Italy visited schools in North Lanarkshire to promote partnership links in September 2006. This is an ongoing annual exchange of staff and pupils with another visit taking place in February 2007.

The visit is part of the Pistoia exchange - a  twinning programme for North Lanarkshire secondary schools and schools in the Provincia di Pistoia.

The partnerships are: 

• Dalziel high school with Istituto 'C. Lorenzini'.
• St. Margaret's high school with Liceo Classico 'N. Forteguerri'.
• Clyde Valley high school with Istituto Prof. Commerciale 'G. Sismondi'.
• St Maurice's high school with Liceo Scientifico 'A. di Savoia'.
• Our Lady's high school, Motherwell with Istituto Forti.
