Substance misuse

North Lanarkshire Council provides support services for individuals or families affected by the misuse of alcohol or drugs.  Most front line staff in Area Teams can provide general information and advice, and support many who have such difficulty, but often the level or extent of an individuals use becomes problematic, and more dedicated or "specialist" services are required.  Services are tailored to meet people's individual needs, based on a Community Care Assessment.
