The Social Work Department, with partners in education, housing, health and the independent sector, is developing improved services for people with learning disabilities and their families which take account of their abilities, family circumstances and, most imporatantly, their wishes. Services are tailored to meet people's individual needs, based on a Community Care Assessment.
