North Lanarkshire Council supports the Scottish Domestic Abuse Partnership Strategy on tackling domestic abuse. The aims of the strategy are as follows:

• Prevention – The prevention of the domestic abuse of women and children
• Protection – Appropriate Legal Services for women or children who experience domestic abuse
• Provision – The provision of support services for women and children.
