Licensing Board Advert - List of current applications

All applications received by the Licensing Board that need to be published under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 1976 and the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 will no longer be published in the local press.  The objection or representation process for each Act is different.  Please make sure you note the proper process to lodge a competent objection or representation for the application you are interested in.

 

All existing licensed premises wishing to operate in terms of the new licensing regime after 1 September 2009 must apply to the board for a new type licence.  Where an application type is noted as "conversion" this is an existing premises and no substantial changes have been applied for relating to proposed size, capacity, nature of operation, trading hours or forms of entertainment available on the premises.

Objections or representations

Any objections or representations must be received by the date stated against each application and must be lodged with:

Objections or representations must be made in writing giving full details of the grounds of objection or representation and can be

Objections

Any objections  must be received by the date stated against each application and must be made in writing giving full details of the grounds of objection to the:

and an exact copy must at the same time be served by the objector on the applicant by

  • delivering to him a copy of the notice of objection or
  • by sending a copy of the said objection by registered post or recorded delivery in a letter addressed to him at the address as published in the application or
  • by leaving a copy of said notice for him at the address as published in the application.
